A modern cloud phone system for your business
NexGenGuard has partnered with Cisco and Ingram Micro to bring San Antonio businesses Cisco Webex Calling, a cloud-based VoIP phone system. Instead of an old phone box in a closet, your phone system runs in Cisco's cloud. Your team can make and take business calls from a desk phone, a computer or a smartphone — in the office, at home or on the road — using the same business number.
We handle everything: planning your call flows, moving your existing service over, setting up phones and apps, training your team and supporting you afterward. You get one local partner for your IT, security and phones.
What Webex Calling does
Call from anywhere, on any device
- Desk phones. Works with Cisco IP phones (such as the 6800, 7800 and 8800 series) and certified third-party phones. Analog telephone adapters let you keep using analog devices like fax machines or door phones.
- Desktop and mobile apps. The Webex App turns any Windows or Mac computer, iPhone or Android phone into your business phone, so your personal number stays private.
- One number that follows you. Calls ring wherever you are, and you can move a call from your desk phone to your mobile without hanging up.
Features that make you sound like a bigger company
- Auto attendant (phone menu). Greet callers with a professional menu — "Press 1 for service, 2 for billing" — with different routing for business hours, after hours and holidays.
- Call queues and hunt groups. Send calls to the right team and ring groups of people at once or in order, so customers aren't stuck in voicemail.
- Everyday call handling. Hold, transfer, call waiting, call forwarding, call park, call pickup, shared lines, multiple lines per user and conference calling.
- Visual voicemail with transcription. See and play voicemails in the app, and read a text version instead of listening.
- Paging, music on hold and receptionist tools. Overhead group paging, custom on-hold music or messages, and an attendant console for front-desk staff handling high call volume.
- Call recording. Record calls for training, quality or compliance where your plan includes it.
- Executive and assistant features. Let an assistant screen and manage calls for a manager or owner.
Calling, meetings and messaging in one app
Webex brings phone calls, video meetings and team messaging together. Start with a phone call and turn it into a video meeting or a chat with one click, all in the same Webex App. Plans can include unlimited local and domestic long-distance calling.
AI that saves time on every call
Cisco's AI Assistant for Webex Calling can give you a live summary of a call as it happens, a summary and full transcript afterward, and a list of action items so follow-ups don't slip. When a call is transferred, the summary can go with it, so the next person has context before they answer.
Works with Microsoft Teams
Already using Microsoft 365? With Cisco Call for Microsoft Teams, your team can use Webex Calling right inside the Teams app — dial by number or extension, check voicemail and see call summaries without switching apps.
Built on Cisco's enterprise-grade platform
Webex Calling runs on Cisco's global cloud, which Cisco designs for 99.999% availability. Because it's in the cloud, there's no phone server for you to maintain, patch or replace, and adding a new employee or location takes minutes instead of a service call.
Why get Webex through NexGenGuard?
- One partner for IT and phones. We already manage your network, so we make sure it's ready for clear, reliable voice calls.
- Done-for-you setup. We design your phone menu and call routing, set up phones and apps, and coordinate moving your existing numbers.
- Training and local support. Your team learns the system from us, and you call a San Antonio team you already know when you need help.
- Honest pricing. No sales team and no commissions — you get a clear quote for the licenses and phones you actually need.
What is VoIP?
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) means your phone calls travel over your internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. A cloud VoIP system like Webex Calling also moves the phone system itself to the cloud, so there is no on-site phone server to buy or maintain.
Can we keep our current business phone numbers?
In most cases, yes. Existing numbers can usually be moved (ported) to Webex Calling. We'll confirm your numbers and coordinate the move as part of the project.
Do we have to buy new desk phones?
Not always. Some users only need the Webex App on their computer and phone. For desk phones, we'll recommend Cisco or certified models that fit your budget.
Will Webex Calling work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Cisco Call for Microsoft Teams lets your team use Webex Calling inside the Teams app.
How much does Webex Calling cost?
Pricing depends on how many users, phones and features you need. Book a free consultation and we'll give you a clear written quote.
